About Us

 

Furniture Falsies were created by Liana Toscanini, a former marketing executive at Sure Fit, Inc., the country's largest readymade slip cover manufacturer. Liana teamed up with her husband, Richard, to come up with just the right design for this unique product. It took over a year experimenting with different materials and concepts to come up with something affordable for the consumer. An earlier version of Furniture Falsies has been selling in Liana's store, LT HOME, for over a year.  Says Liana,

"It seems like every other person shopping for slip covers owns furniture with skinny, low or recessed arms.   I got tired of trying to explain how to beef up the arms with towels and duct tape.  I really wanted an inexpensive, simple, ready-to-go solution for my customers and that's how Furniture Falsies were born."
